After a pick up in Melbourne, from either any of the Airports or Melbourne City:

Experience the scenic wonders of the iconic Great Ocean Road and arrive in the afternoon or early evening, with Dinner waiting there is no need to rush. This evening you will also want review the Great Ocean Walk Map and Guide together with your peronalised Briefing DVD.

Wake the next morning, stretch out in the luxurious king size bed and then get up to enjoy your full cooked breakfast just a step away in the Dining room. After Breakfast, time to pack up your lunch and select from the wide range of available snacks, grab your day pack and you’ll be ready to be on your way.

A short 15 minute drive away and you’ll arrive at Milanesia Gate, perhaps glimpsing some of the extensive mobs of kangaroos that inhabit this area.  From here it’s all under your own steam. A 30 minute stroll down hill through ancient Otway forests and you reach the remote Milanesia Beach  To the east, glimpse Cape Otway Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse still in existence on the Australian Mainland, to the west Moonlight Head. 10 kms of  arguably the best coastline scenery on offer in all of Australia and you’ll return to Moonlight Retreat in time for a welcoming Afternoon tea, and time to kick back,  before your 3 course dinner.

A Full cooked Breakfast again on your final morning, and a selection for lunch and snacks. A short transfer to Gables lookout and then on to Wreck Beach. Walk the Great Ocean Walk to Glenample, just short of the world famous 12 Apostles.  You’ll be collected here and transferred, so that you can enjoy a stroll around the 12 Apostles boardwalk, perhaps an optional helicopter ride and then settle in for your return to Melbourne via the historic Western District of Victoria and the Princes Highway.
